Does KDS work for a small kitchen, not just a big chain?
Yes — a cloud kitchen running one grill and one fryer uses the same screens as a multi-station restaurant. The system grows with you; you don't replace it when you add the second station.
Can it run next to my existing printers while we transition?
Common approach. We deploy screens and printers in parallel for the first week, with the printers kept online as backup until the crew is confident on the screens.
What about heat, grease, and knocks in a commercial kitchen?
Screens we supply are rated for kitchen environments with suggestive mounting options; we install with sealed cable routing. Hardware warrants against local conditions.
Does it work with drive-thru lane timing?
Yes — drive-thru orders enter station queues in car sequence; you see the lane's elapsed timer on the kitchen screen, not just the ticket age.
What's the cost?
Quoted per station count — screens, bump bars, and mounting hardware vary per kitchen layout. A site survey gives a written price.
Does it need internet?
It runs on your local network without cloud dependency. Internet is only needed for sync and reporting; a drop doesn't stop service.
